The Western States Classic Series aims to promote draft horse breeds through exciting competitions. The six and eight-horse hitch qualifying events are a highlight, drawing spectators back each year to cheer on their favorites. The top fifteen hitches with the best five from each breed—Clydesdales/Shires, Belgians, and Percherons—will compete in the World Finals for a prize of over $100,000.
